Diagnoses:
In order to use medical cannabis in Puerto Rico, patients must have one of the medical conditions approved by the Puerto Rico Department of Health:
- Alzheimer’s
- Anorexia
- Arthritis
- Autism
- Depression
- Anxiety Disorders
- Epilepsy
- Glaucoma
- Migraine
- PTSD
- Hepatitis C
- Parkinson’s Disease
- AIDS
- Cancer and chemotherapy treatment for Cancer
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Peripheral Neuropathies
- Bipolar Disorder
- Fibromyalgia
- Conditions related to HIV-positive status
- Insomnia
- Degenerative diseases such as: Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Multiple Sclerosis
- Incurable and advanced diseases requiring palliative care
- Any other condition causing cachexia, chronic pain, severe nausea, or persistent muscle spasms
Important:
